Leela James

Agora que o segundo álbum está quase quase a chegar (e até por isso) vale a pena recordar o titulo de estreia de Leela James, "A change is gonna come" de 2005. Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan e Tina Turner foram algumas das vozes a que Leela foi comparada aquando do lançamento desse seu disco de estreia. Ela própria assume as influências e procura integrá-las na sua visão de música Soul e R&B. Participaram como colaboradores neste disco nomes como Kanye West ou Wyclef Jean, um dos fundadores dos Fugees.
