Tamara Williamson More than a decade/Small Songs
Tamara é uma songwriter e produtora, de origem inglesa (Putney, Londres) mas que reside desde os anos '90 no Canadá. Realizou concertos ou acompanhou em tournée entre outros músicos Oasis, Jewel e, mais recentemente, Feist.
Paralelamente, uma outra faceta artistica é o desenho de trajes para equitação, tendo igualmente reconhecimento público neste particular, pois alguns dos mais importantes cavaleiros da América do Norte vestem roupas por si desenhadas. O contacto com actividades equestres e com cavalos foi algo constante desde a sua juventude, logo não é de estranhar a contínua e transversal referência a estes ao longo das músicas e álbuns na sua carreira.
Tamara na primeira pessoa:
“I have predominately been a musician and was signed to a major label. In 2001 I moved out of Toronto and bought a hobby farm with my husband. I found myself in the heart of horse country and started training in dressage. I now have a huge pinto named Ollie Orca and we are aiming to show Level Three this summer.
"As you can imagine, with my background in music and performing, I love the art of the kur. I like to think that if we had more riders riding to music, we could all have more fun and the sport could reach a wider audience.”
